The Stearman

Wind in Your Face, History in Your Hands

The ultimate open cockpit biplane experience
Built in 1943, our Boeing Stearman was the primary trainer that taught thousands of American pilots the fundamentals of flight during WWII. With over 10,000 aircraft built and approximately 1,000 still soaring today, you’ll be experiencing one of aviation’s most cherished survivors.

What makes the Stearman special:

Open cockpit design puts nothing between you and the endless Australian sky

Fabric wings and authentic 1940s craftsmanship

Powerful radial engine delivers soul-stirring nostalgia with every roar

The purest form of flight – romantic, raw, and utterly unforgettable

This is barnstorming at its finest. Feel the wind rush past as you soar above the stunning Sunshine Coast, experiencing flight exactly as the pioneering aviators did eight decades ago.

The Harvard

The Pilot Maker

Where fighter pilots earned their wings
Built in 1943, this fully enclosed powerhouse was WWII’s elite trainer, where Allied fighter pilots earned their wings before heading into combat. She taught NZ Airforce cadets the art of war in the sky, and her authority-humming engine still delivers that perfect blend of aerial grace and military muscle.

What makes the Harvard legendary:

Advanced WWII trainer with military authority and precision

Powerful engine that hums with the confidence of proven combat preparation

Fully enclosed cockpit with authentic wartime instrumentation

The aircraft that transformed civilians into combat-ready pilots

A ride in the Harvard isn’t just a flight – it’s your chance to experience what it meant to graduate from training to the real thing, making this more than an adventure – it’s more like a rite of passage. Experience the same training that prepared a generation of heroes for the skies over Europe and the Pacific.

The Kittyhawk

Fury in the Sky

Coming Soon to Caboolture Airport

The crown jewel of our fleet, our Curtiss P-40 Kittyhawk is a genuine WWII fighter-bomber with an extraordinary story of survival and restoration. Built in 1943 and shot down in Papua New Guinea in 1945, this remarkable aircraft was painstakingly rebuilt in Australia in 2016 and restored to its original squadron colours.

What makes the Kittyhawk extraordinary:

Authentic WWII combat aircraft used by Allied forces across all theatres

Originally called Warhawk by the USA, renamed Tomahawk, then finally Kittyhawk by the British

Third most-produced American fighter of the war

Shot down, rebuilt, and reborn – this bird truly has stories to tell

The P-40 represents the ultimate fighter pilot experience. When operational, this won’t just be a flight – it’ll be a mission into aviation legend.
